A far-reaching, imagined design, experience, or object not bound by real-world physics such as “Dreamscapes” and architecture that could not exist in the physical world.

Innovative examples of unique corporate workplace experiences created inside a metaverse or spatial web environment

digital twinning

Excellence in the creation and application of an identical digital twin to a physical space.

ai-generated design

Process-driven innovation where artificial intelligence is used to supplement the architect or designers’ craft to create bold new work.

immersive digital art

Work that leverages immersive digital landscapes in conjunction with existing photography or as a standalone to convey powerful architecture and design ideas.

unreal advertising

Work that has been published at the time of entry that leverages immersive digital landscapes in conjunction with existing photography or as a standalone for use in a print, digital, video, or motion graphic advertisement.

best use of blockchain & tokens

Creative and innovative use of blockchain technology and/or blockchain-based tokens (NFTs) in the execution of an architecture or design-focused project or product.

“BUILT” CATEGORIES

Eligible entries must exist in a metaverse or spatial web environment at the time of entry submission. A metaverse or spatial web environment is defined, for the purposes of the submission, as any 3-dimensional digital location that enables real-time immersive interaction between two or more individual digital participants.

commercial

Spaces used by customers/clients and employees; including workplace, retail/showroom, healthcare, education, recreation, and public works.

residential

Private living spaces, including single-family and multi-family.

hospitality

Spaces used for commercial premises within service industries, including restaurants, bars, clubs, casinos, cafés, spas, lounges, and more.

experiential

A branded environment that tells a story and engages users through physical surroundings.

product

Furniture, seating, outdoor, lighting, flooring, kitchen & bath, fabric & wall covering, architectural products, office, accessories, artwork, and more.

“UNBUILT” CATEGORIES

Eligible entries include any 3-dimensional design files that suit the defined category that were created in advance of the eligibility date.

commercial

Spaces used by customers/clients and employees; including workplace, retail/showroom, healthcare, education, recreation, and public works.

residential

Private living spaces, including single-family and multi-family.

hospitality

Spaces used for commercial premises within service industries, including restaurants, bars, clubs, casinos, cafés, spas, lounges, and more.

STUDENT CATEGORY
